The Last Episode Tonight

I cant believe that tonight is the end of the Warehouse. 2 years ago I started a story called "It's A Wonderful Life Artie". I'm afraid that after 2 surgeries and work I let the time slip away and have not finished the story. However, I have written a few more pages that I would like to share with you in honor of the series finale. It is my goal to finish this monstrous undertaking before my next surgery in August. I've enjoyed all the stories that have been created and  hope to see more. LONG LIVE THE WAREHOUSE!

P.S. I just want to point out that the writers on the show have used my ideas in several episodes. I must have been channeling my ideas to them. Shame I cant get any credit for the alternate time line and a modern looking warehouse.

'Eagleheart' - Saul Mention

Posted by Kritchkow on January 19, 2014 at 8:40 PM Comments comments (1)

Hello Angels! Long time no post!

There's a recent mention of Saul on two episodes of Eagleheart - Chris Elliot's surreal comedy airing Thursday nights on Adult Swim.  The first was a funny banter between Chris' character (a US Marshall) and an investigating officer.  Chris was evading questions by making random statements, one of which was "When will Saul Rubinek finally be recognized for his film work?  That man lights up the screen."

The second mention - and probably the most random of all gags in the whole season - was the physical embodiment of "America" kidnapping Chris and taking him on a rampage of violence and drugs.  After the end of their journey Chris and 'America' fall asleep in a barn and as America drifts off he has a dream of "...President Saul Rubinek!"

I have a screencap of the image, but I had to add to our Photo Gallery section. Enjoy!

All episodes of Eagleheart are available on the Adult Swim Youtube Channel - BUT BEWARE!  The show is not for everyone!  (Cartoonish yet strong violence, and adult situations.)

Day in the Life of a Fan

(Lame title, sorry)

Whether this is considered a rant or even allowed to be considered "blogging material", I thought I'd share my thoughts here.

It's a real bummer being a fan of something that no one else around you seems to care about. Even worse, makes fun of you for liking it. Now, I understand completely that not everyone likes the same things, but when your own family insults you suddenly for liking a certain actor.. it's rather depressing. =( They pick on me, make jokes.. and I just don't understand why.

What's wrong with liking a 64 year old actor whom I'm really like?? It's no different than someone liking Hugh Jackman or Johnny Depp, right?? I don't see the difference.

What I guess I'm trying to say is, I'm glad I found Artie's Angels, because I can be myself here. ^^ Talk to others about Saul Rubinek and know they like him just as much as me.

Thanks Artie's Angels!!~!

A good friend of mine that I work with is a very talented artist.  AJ is our Graphic Artist/Art Director, and he can throw together a drawing with amazing speed!!

Today he surprised me with this little gem...he said it took him less than 5 minutes to draw, and maybe another 5 on the computer to add the color.  If anyone is interested, he does do commissions!!  :D

If there is any interest from you guys I can get more made.  If I have an order of 6 I can get them at $3 a piece...but the more orders I get, the cheaper the buttons!  Send me a message if you're interested.

Dragon Con and messages for Saul

Only one week until Dragon Con! I am so excited and I can't wait to meet Saul and Eddie, and I'm looking forward to spending time with LadyNRA again. I am planning on taking lots of pictures for the site, and I'll blog about it afterwards.

Are any of you going? If so we would love to meet you! Just let me know and we will work out a time and place to meet at the con.

Also, if any of you would like to send Saul or Eddie a message I will be happy to print them off and give them to him. I will put them together by next Thursday, so the sooner you can send them the better.
